Many factors can cause hair loss. Stress, genetics, inadequate nutrition and the environment are some common factors. Men and women are equally concerned about blading, regardless of the cause. This article has hints to fight balding.

Taking care of your physical health is vitally important if you have any type of illness of disease. If you fail to take the prescribed medicine, or do something against your doctor’s wishes, your body might not react well and won’t be able to properly repair itself. It takes energy to grow hair, and if you are forcing your body to burn up all its energy merely to stay alive, you cannot expect to grow hair! Thinning hair will occur, as a result.

The way that you style your hair could be contributing to blading. Avoid pulling hair tightly into a ponytail, and try not to keep it tied up for long periods. Using barrettes, bobby pins, ponytail holders and all other hair styling products have greatly improved in recent years but can still damage your hair. Tight ponytails eventually damage hair follicles through the hair shaft.

Eating white sesame seeds can help slow down thinning hair. Try eating a handful every day. Sesame seeds are loaded with magnesium and calcium. These nutrients are good for your scalp and can help prevent thinning hair.

Maintain plenty of protein in your diet to slow hair loss. Fish, eggs, nuts, and poultry are great high-protein food sources. Eating these will give your hair the specific protein it needs, which is keratin. When you have adequate keratin in your diet, your hair will become healthier and stronger.

Avoid brushing your hair when it’s wet. Wet hair is softer and more easily damaged. Dry hair is much better at handling a good hard brushing. Brushing the hair wet can pull it, make it frizzy, or split it.

Staying out of high pollution areas is good for preventing blading. Studies have proven that men who live in highly polluted areas are at a greater risk for developing thinning hair, because the pollutants can travel into their bloodstream, causing damage to hair and making it fall out.

Taking an anti-depressant can sometimes have the side effect of blading. People commonly find their hair falling out when taking an anti-depressants due the ingredients found in them. You might want to speak with your physician to seeing if switching medications is an option. Perhaps taking a new medicine will halt the blading.

As was stated in the above article, blading concerns both women and men of any age. It is brought about through various reasons and may be out of your control. The tips that were mentioned in this article can help you treat the loss of hair by identifying the underlying causes.
